Q:
I’d like to have my band’s
demo/ep/album featured in the demo centre, what do I need to do?
A:
Step 1, Send your demo/ep/album (including cover artwork), accompanied by a cd containing a brief bio, photo,
logo, your phone number and a current email address
to:
Sinister
Online Demos
P.O. Box 373
Keilor, Victoria,
3036
Alternatively, you can send all of the above in electronic format (including your chosen track from your demo in a high quality .mp3 format) to demos@sinister.com.au. Submissions missing any of the above key components will not be accepted.
We
will review your material and get back to you ASAP about slotting
it into the demo centre schedule. The band must
be currently located
within an Australian state or territory, and unsigned;
ie: yet to sign a contract with a recording label,
wether
it be
within Australia or Internationally. We do not count a
distribution licence as being signed.
Q:
How do I find out when the site
has been updated?
A: Just sign up to the Sinister Online mailing list located
on the main page!
Q:
How can I get my band’s CD reviewed?
A: Send it along with a brief bio / press release to:
Sinister
Online
P.O. Box 373
Keilor, Victoria, 3036
Q:
How do I get a gig put up on the gig guide?
A: Email the gig details to gigs@sinsiter.com.au Don’t
forget to mention the location, date, wether it’s 18+,
under 18, or all-ages, and if you happen to know what the cover
charge will
be, that would be good to know also. We only post
gigs for Australian
states and territories.
Q:
Do I have to create a user ID to read the forum?
A: Whilst it is not compulsory, we do recommend
you take a few minutes to create a user ID
for the forum,
or else
you
will not
be able to take advantage of all the forum’s
features, and your unique user ID will also
be used down the track if you
decide
to make any purchases from the Sinister Store.
Q:
Can I join the Sinister Street Team?
A: Absolutely! Drop us an email at streetteam@sinister.com.au so
we can hook you up, and we will endeavour to give you as much
cool
free shit as possible for working fo' da man.
Q:
Some of the sites features and downloads do not seem to be
working on my computer. Can
you help me?!
A: Sinister Online uses Quicktime and Flash
Media Player for some of it’s downloads
and features. If you do not have the latest
version of these applications please click
on one
of the buttons
below to get them now!

Also
check what internet browser you are currently running and see
if the version you have is supported
by us. You can find this out by checking
back at our splash
page,
where we have listed supported browser
types and versions. Whilst we try to encompass
as many browser types and versions as possible,
we cannot possibly have them all, so if
you
find after trying
to download new versions of Flash media
player and Quicktime that
the site is still not working for you,
then perhaps consider using a different
browser,
or downloading a newer version.
